Peanut Butter Pie

Oh all the wonderful things Valentine's Day can bring each year. Last year I was finding all kinds of little things here and there that I could attach some cheesy line to so I could fill a box to ship out to Afghanistan where AJ was stationed for his deployment. This year we were able to spend the evening together and just enjoy a night in eating some delicious food and playing a game.

Joke of the day: we both got each other the game "Scrabble." I've decided that I am doomed for the years to come if we are already getting each other the same thing! :)

One of AJ's favorite candies are peanut butter cups, so I wanted to do something different for after dinner and make a pie. So I found a recipe and went to it!

It was a very simple pie to put together, and it even had a great taste! Somewhat rich, but yummy :) The recipe called for a graham cracker crumb crust, but I used an oreo one to add a little extra chocolate flavor and I chopped up peanut butter cups to top off the pie instead of peanuts.
