Trip to the Northwest

Axton and I headed up to northwestern Iowa with my parents and step brother Justin for my cousin Erin's wedding. It was located in good old Sioux Center, the home of Dordt College and wonderful neighboring city of Orange where I spent 9 months of my life attending Northwestern College from 2006-2007.

We stopped in Sioux City for some dinner before we made the last leg of the trip so we could relax and hopefully catch up with some family once we arrived at the hotel that night. Alan chose to stop at Black Bear Diner, and of course we just HAD to take a picture outside with the giant black bear!

It was a beautiful wedding and wonderful time visiting with family from out of state we do not get to see often enough. Cannot wait until next summer for the Van Gorp Family Reunion so we can all catch up again! :)
