We have been the proud owners of Alfie for a couple of weeks now, and thankfully he is still alive! We've had a few battles with keeping the temperature in his home warm enough with the air conditioning in the apartment running at a temp to keep us from sweating each day out, but he is still doing well. When we first got our little guy, he was just under about three-fourths an inch long. The length is from the tip of his nose to his bottom, because his back legs are MUCH longer!! After measuring Alfie's length last night, he is now at just over an inch long! They most definitely weren't kidding when they said these little guys grow fast!

It's been fun getting to watch him hunt the crickets. He hangs upside down on the side of the glass watching them crawl around on the bottom, and then he pounces and eats them in one bite. It's also fun to watch him start to digest the crickets because his tummy will be really skinny and then after he opens and closes his mouth a few times his tummy suddenly plumps up! We've also been excited to see his color begin to develop a bit more. He's finally starting to get that bright blue coloring on his sides! :)
