C-ya!

It finally happened. The day I have been hoping would still be in the distant future is here. It's the first "next step" that has really struck me that she is growing up. I've been more than excited for all the other milestones of rolling over, sitting up independently, eating food, crawling, walking (which took FOREVER to happen!), talking, feeding herself with her own silverware, but this? I'm not sure I am ready for this, but I know she is. To say that she is excited is quite the understatement. She even got to pick out her own pillow and pillowcase (pink, of course...is she really my child?!)

Good-bye crib. Hello big girl bed!
