Making Room for Baby

After a few weeks of solid preparation --getting rid of random things that were just taking up space we will need, purchasing the necessary supplies, and doing what we could to 'baby-proof' our apartment, we felt we were finally ready to bring baby home. Introducing the newest member of the Krueger family: Aizee, the snow-spotted Bengal kitten (NO, we're not having a REAL baby!)

We seem to have this tendency to 'replace' the animals we lose with another pet to keep our family feeling 'complete'. With Alfie dieing, we weren't sure that we could just replace him with another Red-Eyed Tree frog because he was seriously one of the coolest pets ever. And the idea of replacing a pet every 2-3 years (such as with frogs) wasn't exactly appealing either. So after much contemplation and research, we chose to get a Bengal kitten as they are hypoallergenic (Axton is allergic to cats!), they are VERY playful and interactive, and I absolutely LOVE cats.

Are we absolutely crazy? Quite possibly. But this will be the last critter addition to the Krueger family as 2 dogs and 1 cat should be around for quite a while! No matter the craziness though, they are sure to keep every day an adventure :)
