Fifteen Months

It's hard to believe that our little girl is already 15 months old! How can this be?! It seems like it was just yesterday that she made her long awaited arrival into the world, and yet at the same time, it seems like she has always been a part of our lives. She is definitely one special little girl, and we are beyond blessed to have her :)

A short 15 months ago Eslie weighed in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces and was 20.25 inches long. Today she weighs 21 pounds, 1 ounce and is 29 7/8 inches.
She has 12 teeth, and she LOVES to brush them.
Her hair color is a strawberry blonde, unlike the dark brown hair she was born with.
She wears 18 month clothing and a size 5 shoe. She is OBSESSED with shoes. And clothes. We might be doomed!
Her favorite animal is a zebra and she knows almost all of the animal sounds. My favorite is when she wiggles her body and says 'waddle waddle' for the penguin :)
Her favorite fruits are kiwi, oranges & pineapple.
Her favorite vegetables are green beans & corn.
Her favorite snacks (junk foods!) are marshmallows and craisins.
Using silverware is a MUST when eating and she has to do it all on her own.
Her favorite activities are reading books, blowing bubbles, and chasing/being chased by Aizee (our cat).
She loves trying to figure out puzzles.
Her favorite thing to do with Daddy is play basketball. She will beg for it at least once a day.
She is obsessed with her blanket and probably will be until its too embarrassing to show her friends.
She just might have a bigger attitude than her Mommy. We will REALLY be in trouble!

Eslie Jai, Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know, and it has been such an adventure watching you learn and grow. We know that God has BIG plans for little you and we cannot wait to see what He does!
