As we all know, the holidays are here! And with all the craziness of the holidays comes the cold weather, snow, and holiday festivities. We've already survived Thanksgiving and eating until we believed our stomaches could explode. Thankfully central Iowa has missed all the snow so far, but we definitely aren't missing out on the cold weather! I didn't go too crazy with decorating the apartmen for the holidays because I would prefer to wait until AJ is back home to do such with me, but I had to put up a few Christmas things to give this place at least a little festivity this Christmas season! Here are a few things I've done:
I borrowed a 3 ft Christmas tree from my mom to set up so that I could at least have something for a tree. I ended up having to put it up on a tv tray though because it looks ridiculous on the floor being so short, and this will keep the puppies out of it as well! Thankfully I've been receicing Christmas ornaments each Christmas for the past few years, so I had a few to put on the tree so it wasn't so bare.
"K" is for Krueger
We have only about half of the Christmas shopping done for this year, but I was able to get them all wrapped, so I went ahead and put them "under" the tree.
I also managed to find a couple stockings to personalize and hang on the entertainment center. That's probably all the more decorating I will do, but at least it feels a little festive here in the Krueger apartment :)
